We launched our paddleboards (and kayaks) off Southern Blvd and headed to a beautiful mangrove island in the middle of the Intracoastal (or Lake Worth Lagoon). Lots of ornamental driftwood lined the beaches of the island, and the flora and fauna was gorgeous. This little island is called Fisherman's Island and is perfect for a picnic.
After exploring the island we were off to bigger and better things. In the distance we could see the famous Mar-a-Lago residence, once owned by Marjorie Post, but now owned by Donald Trump. Amazingly, we were able to paddle right up to the seawall and were able to get a glimpse of this awesome mansion.
Yes, we were living the lifestyles of the rich and famous ... I bet "The Donald" has not even paddleboarded behind his own place!
