Sue and Claus paddle for the first time

First time Stand Up Paddleboarders take out behind Old Port Cove with choppy conditions but manage to get up and stand up on their boards! Claus was an experienced kayaker and in good shape considering he was 74. Sue was a bit younger and being a women she had better balance so it was somewhat easier for her. These two were real troopers and were determined to not let the conditions stand in their way. Usually it is much better to learn how to paddle in calmer waters from a beach launch. Leaving from a dock requires a bit more agility...... but hey!.....they did it and have pictures to prove it!
